The McCoy Foundation is a work in progress. It
is a Transitional Housing Facility for runaway teens, homeless people
and their families.
The facility will be fully staffed with doctors,
nurses, cooks, tutorers as well as counselors. We will operate on
a 24 hour a day schedule.
Clients will be able to reside there from 6
months to one year depending on how long it takes to get
them reaclimated to society. There will be GED classes and job
training.
We will provide transportation to get them
back and forth to appointments (doctors or personal). The facility
will also house a 24 hour daycare facility to meet the scheduling needs
of the clients.
My name is L. McCoy and I chose to have a
website to inform people that something needs to be done about the
homeless situation. I am not just talking about the
situation, I am taking a stand. I am personally inviting anyone who
shares my concern, as well as my vision, to join me in my plight
to end homelessness. Each one reach one.
